1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or engaging our electrical services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Andrew's Home Services Pty Ltd (ABN: 31 620 049 720), trading as Perth Electrical Services, holds Electrical Contractor Licence EC 9715.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
We provide licensed electrical services throughout the Perth metropolitan area, including:
- Domestic electrical installations and repairs
- Commercial electrical services
- Switchboard upgrades
- Lighting installation
- EV charger installation
- Safety inspections and RCD testing
- Emergency electrical services
All electrical work is performed in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and Western Australian electrical safety regulations.
3. Licensing and Compliance
All electrical work is performed under Electrical Contractor Licence EC 9715. We maintain $$10 Million public liability insurance for your protection.
For work outside our electrical licence scope (including solar PV installation, air conditioning refrigerant work, gas connections, and plumbing), we coordinate with appropriately licensed partners and clearly disclose this arrangement.
4. Quotes and Pricing
- Quotes are provided free of charge for standard electrical work
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise
- Additional work discovered during a job will be quoted separately before proceeding
- Emergency call-out fees may apply outside standard business hours
5. Bookings and Cancellations
- Appointments are confirmed via phone, SMS, or email
- We request 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may incur a call-out fee
- We will contact you if we need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances
6. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards
- For larger projects, progress payments may be required
- Overdue accounts may incur interest at the rate of 2% per month
7. Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind our workmanship and provide the following guarantees:
- Workmanship: 12-month warranty on all labour
- Materials: Manufacturer warranties apply to all products installed
- Compliance: All work complies with current Australian Standards
- Certificate of Compliance: Provided for all notifiable electrical work
Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
8. Site Access and Safety
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide safe and clear access to work areas
- Inform us of any hazards or site-specific safety requirements
- Ensure pets are secured during our visit
- Provide access to the switchboard and meter box
We may need to temporarily disconnect power during certain electrical work. We will advise you in advance and minimise disruption where possible.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided
- We are not responsible for pre-existing electrical faults or defects not covered in our scope of work
This limitation does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Andrew's Home Services Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
11. Website Use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with the website's functionality
- Submit false or misleading information through our forms
12. Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute regarding our services, please contact us directly to resolve the matter. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, you may lodge a complaint with Consumer Protection WA or the Energy and Water Ombudsman. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
